Yeah Jeuno First Walk was predictably hilarious the first run through with nobody knowing the mechanics. Still easy because it's pretty forgiving plus the caliber of players on the first day tends to be above average.
The pug I joined took 2 attempts on the dragon and 1 shot the other 3.
I still don't understand that mechanic on the first boss where she boots you and everyone goes flying. Does everyone have to set their own angle or is it just the tank that gets targetted? I think I killed like 10 people on that mech the first time I saw it which I was pretty proud of. I'll have to watch a video later and see someone explain it.

Every person gets the marker, the amount of times Prishe "charges" the hit tells you how far you will get knocked back, it is a modified version of M1 N/S(the only difference is Cat doesn't charge the knock back)

Yup. When she says "get ready!!!", each time she says it means you fly farther. So if she says it 3x, the farthest trajectory is the one you'll get booted to

Final boss was a bitch - we used like 2 healer LB3 during it

Raid was pretty good. I like how the music roll rewards are tokens now and you can just buy the music roll you want.

As for MSQ, particularly the ending

It makes me wonder who "Fake" Sphene is. Maybe someone involved with the soul to beast transfer project? Or the Alexandrian organization that invented soul transfer (like how Otis was put into a robot). Maybe Galool Ja's mom? She seemed pretty driven, I have to imagine they aren't just going to end her story like they did.

I presume the final scene where you see the POV of a woman in Living Memory is actual Sphere reborn somehow.

Primal Sphene(Her character is based off of both, Dagger(FF9) and the Girl in the Green Dress, FF4 After Years) the fact that they remembered her after ERASING her from the menos node is a dead give away.

Raid was fun, for the first week the bosses definitely got hands. Dragon boss baited the hell out of us with the first fire breath; and last boss was brutal since we kept having so many deaths, especially in the second half the fight. Pelupelu society questline has been comfy so far, so thats nice as well.

As for the MSQ:

I firmly believe Neu-Sphene is an Ascian. *insert exasperated Alisae screaming* Having thought over the xpac story so far and what info we haven been given, there's some irregularities in the Alexandrian situation upon reflection that I think point towards Ascian involvement. That being said, I think this Ascian went rogue like Fandaniel and so this is their own plans versus anything the Paragons had going on before with Zodiark.

I thought a bit more on the MSQ ending for the patch

Ascian would seem too obvious and I don't think they want to use that card yet

Given the plot of the patch, I have a feeling the fake Sphene is Galool Ja's mom. The whole point of the facility was to allow the transfer of souls into other vessels and we know that she was heavily involved with observing and assisting with the project technology. They had moved to human trials with limited success and noted that transfer into beastial bodies resulted in the subject taking on bestial characteristics.

But it stands to reason the soul transfer technology would work just as well with humans or other intelligent life. We also know the Alexandrians succeeded in putting souls into robots (Otis). So my new theorycraft for the story

1) Galool Ja's mom's died and her soul was kept somewhere - maybe Living Memory? Sphene being defeated, and her crown becoming available, would allow someone to potentially hijack her authority. The mom basically impersonates Sphene. As an unintended byproduct of this, "real" Sphene's soul/memories get dumped into another body? would explain the 2nd Sphene at the end of the patch in Living Memory
2) She is a giga simp/stalker of crazy iksar dude, so maybe she is thinking she can save him and put his soul into another body, however there are still kinks in the system that have to be worked out
3) So she creates the Neo Regulators and will effectively run a 5000 person human trial to test the viability of the technology in the hopes she can revive her Iksar bae
4) Shale figures out the plan after she decodes the data logs in 7.2 or 7.3 (she did confirm in the story that she had not yet had a chance to decode anything outside the audio logs)

Yeah part of me could be okay with another Ascian finally showing themselves having been waiting in the wings, but agree it just feels too obvious to pull that out yet again at this time.
