One of my classmates kept getting these serious boil-like things under her armpit and she didn't know what it was. She kept going to the ER to get it popped and it literally kept coming back. It was MRSA. Haha.

Could? Sure. Would? Proooobably not. I mean that's basically worst case. hehe.

If you were getting them once a month it would raise the concern-o-meter quite a bit. It is kinda funny that a pre-Nurse got boils, and was just kinda like, "Man. This sucks!" One sucks. Two is god dammit. Three is Ok, wtf, am I dying squirtle?

MRSA is on your skin. You get a skin defect -> infection -> boil.
Intredasting. No damage to the area ( i mean , right near my nutsack). Who knows what couldve happened.

Edit: Also I never lanced it. I kept hot cloths on it for days until a whitehead appeared and then drained it every couple hours. I wasn't too retarded.

My classmate is kind of retarded. I made her go to my hubby who's the dermatologist. :p

edit: What's more concerning were the ER doctors (they were residents) who did not even want to culture it.

So bottom line here, am I mostly safe to do the same thing I did last time (wait for it to come to head, drain it, pull out chunky shit at the end)?

What percentage of death are we talking?

If you have health insurance there isn't much reason not to see a doctor over it considering it's the second occurrence in a year.

I don't want to go to the doctor for no reason is my concern. I don't want to go and he goes "yep it's a boil, we can wait or lance it now".

If it's something I should absolutely go for I will.

Very low percentage of death. But there is some sort of problem and it probably won't just magically disappear.

If it was your first boil, well the body does weird shit and it is possible to likely that it will magically fix itself (after it's drained). But it being the second in the same general area as your previous one indicates that it did not. The period of a year would seem to indicate that it's not a major concern you're facing, but there is something there to be investigated.

So yeah, you have a reason to go. He still might say, "Yep. Wanna go ahead and do this thing?" But you can tell him it's your second in a year and let him think about it for a second. He'll have some advice that may keep you from getting one next year.Somethingis going on with your skin.

It might even be just something stupid like it's getting too dry and being stressed, allowing for these infections to form. You might luck out and get him to write you a note telling your wife that she has to lotion your balls.

The whole damn point is that you don't know. You go to the doctor to eliminate the chance of it being something serious. You WANT the doctor to say "yep it's just a boil, no big deal".

I'll consider it. I can't go right now because it has just begun. In 2 days I'll be screaming in agony again

I mean I would go. Like any abscess, they can make you VERY sick if they're not caught and tended promptly.

I need to wait and make sure it is a boil. Right now it's sort of a lump on the skin, not painful, just sort of feels like what I had last time (although last time it was a goddamn carbuncle).

This is literally the first day I've seen it so I want to make sure it's actually what it is and not some weird pimple or in grown hair.

Its just on my leg, no between my nutsack and ass crack like before. I'm just a bit concerned why I would get another a year later.
Yeah I just had another one of these drained Tuesday. Should be the last one since it looks like it was the tumor causing these things and it's gone now. This abscess was there before surgery but it was really tiny. It swelled up bad over the weekend/Monday and that was that.

I'm not convinced it's a boil yet. Today it feels smaller. It hasn't started to hurt yet or anything, so for right now i'm just waiting. I promise I'll go to the doctor if it pops up. Also, you telling me a tumor caused it only made me have 175% of a heart attack.

Its not visible yet, I can feel it mostly under the skin. The diameter of it feels the same as before. Also it's near my nutsack and while you have already rated my penis I need to get some proper lighting if I want to take a good pic of the ol bag.

I thought he said it was on his leg and not his ballsac? Haha.

edit: OH, he just said it was by his sac above. Haha. Naw, its OK. You should still get it checked out. :p
