If you're really really bored or sick. It's not as good as Game of Thrones, has pacing issues, but has a few decent episodes and the story is good, but it's that problematic pacing that makes it hard to watch a full hour long episode where the stakes don't change and no characters change motivation. And that happens like 3 or 4 times.
It's not terrible, but it's not GoT good.

Hotd dialogue is by far worse than even s8 GOT. (The source material has virtually no dialogue for them to use so it's shit modern writers impression of what the dialogue should sound like)
The characters and plots are like s6-s7 bad. Definitely cracks are showing, plot holes are starting to Develop but it's not yet s8 bad.

It morphed from warriors and dragons into a lesbian soap opera. With some weird homoerotic transsexuals thrown in for good measure.
The only 2 interesting main characters from season 1, Cole and Daemon were practically written off the show. The girl boss writers are done with the mansplaining it seems. It's all about the power ladies and the chicks with dicks now.

literal 2nd largest house in importance to this timeline (Velaryon) are race swapped to first black family of Westeros, intentional casting of Non-binary for the MAIN character, 10min scene completely invented to feature turbotranny faggot (100% diversity casting) AND complete desecration of the source material

Putting aside all of that - the actual show just isn't very good. You can excuse season 1 as setting up the storyline but season 2 was a disaster

I'm not wrong, you just don't like that I'm right or at least have a difference of opinion. That's not the same thing.
The newest Star Wars show had no white men in it right? House of the Dragon is at least 40% white men. The US is about 30% white men.
Rings of Power is taking well understood lore of a beloved literary masterpiece and changing most of it. House of the Dragon is changing a couple of details to adapt a few pages of a spin off history book of an above average book.
The show is meant to have shocking things in it, why can't the show have a tranny pirate captain?

I never understood why a marriage alliance wasn't proposed in their first meeting, would have solved literally all of the many issues of competing claims.
We had to suffer a retarded soap opera will they won't they storyline, when really it should have been about showing them falling in love for real before the betrayal.

Because they were trying to mirror her turning into the mad queen like her father. She had every reason to hate the seven kingdoms after what they did to her family. But she was also slipping into madness to mirror the events that kicked off the series to begin with.
