You're dancing around the question. What, in your life experience (since feelsdata is clearly what we are basing this off of), leads you to the conclusion that if you just committed you could force your body to respond the same way to Patrick Stewart as it does currently to Kate Upton? We are talking about body chemistry here, biological responses, basic shit here. What you just mentioned has nothing at all to do with that.

Its called a cline in biological diversity conversations, we can call it a spectrum when we're discussing sexuality.

You are the one trying to compare race and sexuality as being equal and similar. Again race is fixed genetically and is not in something a person can in anyway choose. Sexuality is a much more fluid construct combining both fixed and variable aspects.

Trying to equate sexual identity with race is simply a bad idea don't do it.

You're getting very close to going moonbat here and completely reverting back to you genetics is the only cause for homosexuality argument again.

Race is not fixed genetically in the way you think it is, either. In fact much of race is a social construct. In many ways, race does not exist at all, in particular from a biological point of view, as in, there are no valid taxonomic divisions upon which we can divide human populations along that are not fundamentally arbitrary and chosen based on cultural conceptions of what comprises one race from another. What we consider white/black/etc in the US is not the same as what they consider races in Brazil, for instance.

I can cite copious amounts of peer reviewed literature on this topic going back almost 100 years to Boas' work, among many others, as this is exactly where my field of study is: Human variation in skeletal anatomy and other biological markers, and in fact my research for my capstone class for my BS in bioarchaeology is on the topic of racial classification and its lack of merits.

To put it bluntly, if you think you've had a hard time arguing sexuality with me, don't even think about getting started on race, because I will fucking break you to pieces on that shit if you even remotely try to get started down that road.

Regardless, it is clear that you lack even the most basic education in pretty much any topic you pretend to be a credible speaker on. My suggestion is stop trying to pretend you're a credible debater on any of these issues, because you clearly are not.

Depends on your personal definitions you can be mentally gay but never act upon those feeling and you can also engage in homosexual acts and still not consider yourself to be gay.

Honestly I have no set line in the sand for when a person becomes officially gay.

When people talk about "soandso is dehumanizing whatever group" this is what they are talking about. You don't seem to be aware that gay people have thoughts and feelings just like you. They don't control their attractions any more than you do. They are people, just like you.
