Your ex wife and kids live in squalor down in the ghetto while you cash big checks and live like king george? Is that how it should play out?
The kids would be "staying" with the father, if we go by who can provide for them better.

As to your second point, I've survived on $9.15/hour. While it was a smallish, one-bedroom apartment, it wasfarfrom a squalor in the ghetto. I ate mostly ramen and was rarely ever able to "indulge" myself, but I had all of my basic needs met.

Who the fuck is gonna watch the kids while she works? Or better yet who is going to pay for the day care? Your ex wife and kids live in squalor down in the ghetto while you cash big checks and live like king george? Is that how it should play out?
Why can't the dad take the kids if the dad has the money to take care of them?

Unless the father has been overwhelmingly involved in the child-raising, many judges are still likely to award the children to the mother because she is better equipped to parent.

If the mother has not been working outside the home, she may get the children no matter how involved the father has been. The judge will find she is available for the children and presumably able to care for them because she has been staying home.

If both parents work outside the home, the father's chances are better because a non-parent provides much of the daily care taking. But then the whole alimony point is moot.

Also, no matter how involved and competent the father is, the mother is usually the favored parent for very young children. All the court can do is give the father as much time as possible.

I think being a PI lawyer would be so much worse. I have several family members that are PI lawyers and the things they justify are just absurd. Dealing with that many scumbags and that much deceit has to have an effect on how you see every day life.

And now that I read what I write, it actually sounds pretty much the same as a divorce lawyer!
PI is a pretty straightforward business with little drama; its all about documenting injuries (whether they exist or not) and constructing a case against an insurance company.

Divorce lawyers actually make money off the drama and do everything they can do to promote drama because litigating divorce is how they make money. And the drama comes at the expense of your family and your kids. Fuck that shit right in the nose.

Why the fuck would any man want to get married under your system?

And just one point: alimony isn't moot just because the wife works. If she makes significantly less, alimony can still be awarded. I've seen alimony awarded when the wife makes more than the husband.

Funny enough, I've very rarely seen alimony given to the husband even when the wife makes significantly more. Family law is a VERY VERY mother-centric setup.

Well until the sexism in the courtroom changes, thats what we go up against. Also, just to add, I know many guys that would not even want the responsibility of being the primary care giver of their children.

Have you ever been to a family court and seen the shenanigans that go on in there? It sure is sexist... against men.

Because it is sexist, you agree right? 80-90% of the time the mother gets custody. Teh entire "primary care giver" thing gets real cloudy these days when both parents work.

I can see the woman being chosen when the kid is <3-4 yrs old, because lets face it, kids that age need mommy. But anything older than that should be fair game. This is not the 50s anymore where men dont do shit but come home and ask "where is dinner".

It is sexist to a large degree. I was just wondering where you are getting your info. I've sat through about 10 jury trials for divorces, its freaking brutal the shit people do to each other.

I don't really agree kids under any certain age need mommy - they need a loving parent, regardless of which one. Mommies don't do anything daddies can't do besides breast feed.

Ive read some shit into this over the years. Also its no secret that the 80-90% thing, right? You cannot tell me that 80-90% of the mothers deserve full coustody of the kids over the fathers.

Also yes, at those ages, kids do need mommy, and mothers do have an intrinsic nurturing, motherly instinct that most men do not have. Its pretty much ingrained into them all throughout growing up, playing with dolls and playing house, while us boys play with cars and guns.

I would totally argue this. I grew up with 4 sisters, and dolls and playing house. I understand what your saying, a lot of guys can only focus on football and hunting or whatever, but I really feel like that changes more and more every year. As much as I think my kids mother is a good mom, there's not a thing she does that I don't feel I do as well, or in most cases, better. Then again, maybe you're right and I just love the cock.

more girls are becoming less suitable mothers than ever before in the history of humankind. there was a time when girls were taught house economics in schools and colleges. that time is gone. growing up with dolls now doesn't guarantee their ability as a mother. now, it's just a girl growing up with dolls.

my sister, for instance, would make a terrible fucking mother despite growing up with dolls. she has no motherly instinct whatsoever. she is focused on her nursing career. all other aspects of "motherly" trainings" are neglected. they get pushed to the end when they decide to get a baby.

but there are more information available than ever before on internet and books. anyone can do this shit now.
