Again, where have I said that they are negative? You're interpreting them as such. The how/why of women that I'm breaking down isn't a positive or a negative. It simplyis. You're interpreting it as a negative because you have an image/interest to protect and a mystique to preserve. Women are rewarded and reinforced by society for being mysterious and seemingly irrational. In fact, if done right, it's precisely that "mystery" which makes women both desirable and intolerably frustrating. However, to pull it off they must be(or seem to be)unknowable, and encourage men to believe so. Why do you think women love gossip so much? There's power in secrets for women(and men, at times. We just tend to seek them out less frequently). When a woman retorts to an observation of female behavior that betrays their intent, the standard misdirection is always drenched in the unknowable, unpredictably volatile, mystique. Again, you're assuming that I believe women have malicious intent in all things. Nowhere have I said that. However, as I've pointed out, there's areasonwhy you're attempting to distance yourself from certain observations.

I think a lot of the numbers game is situational.

I've slept with maybe 6 women? Less than 8 for sure, but on the flip side I've made-out with probably 50+. Bible belt, christian college, the math is pretty simple. I also worked for the school so was terrified of being anyone's first anything, but eating alone sucks.

Met my wife her freshman-spring semester. Yoga pants were involved. We date casually for almost 6 months before she tells during a party that I'm the first guy she's kissed. Mind Blown. We've done more than kiss by this point or she wouldn't have been around for 6 months. My whole point is that outside of the numbers, sometimes, blind spots are a GOOD thing. The idea that someone as pretty as this girl got through high school un-KISSed by a guy, or hell girl, never occurred to me. If I had known this information before I wouldn't have even given the relationship a chance and we wouldn't have spent the last 10 years together.

And yes, 0 or 1 to 3 partners for a woman is ideal. Up to 5. 0 or >=1 is debatable.

The last virgin I ran into was in my 20's, and I thought it was completely fucked up even then. I can believe a 30 year old virgin. It would be a rarespawn but there is a path or two for that that makes sense. Of course it's possible that she hasn't had sex since she was 17. And back then it was date-rape so she told you she's a virgin which is partially true while technically being false. True enough in the important way to pass, at least. Something like that.

Maybe she was fat and insecure in her college years and all the horndogs decided she was too much effort. I mean, it's not completely unthinkable.

I'm not saying that it's a common thing, but it certainly is not impossible to find a 19 yr old virgin. I found one when she was 19, and married her by the time she was 25. The virginity thing didn't even freak me out since those weren't even that uncommon at Lipscomb, but it was the fact she hadn't even been kissed yet. It wasn't a lack of people hitting on her, it was her choice. In most cases they don't loose anything, they choose to fuck someone. =P

Just went to a wedding maybe 6 months ago, where the bride was 36 and claimed to be a virgin. I believe it. She's fat, mean, and SUPER Mormon. She still lived with her mom. A guy I knew through a guy I knew was marrying her, because they met playing WoW. I met her, and I get along with everyone, and in my head I thought "What an unlovable bitch". Seriously, she was bad. Permanent scowl.

They had sex on their wedding night (They got married after maybe 2 months of dating), and apparently it didn't go so well. They had sex once again maybe 8 weeks later. They filed for divorce a couple months later.

I talked to the guy (he stopped by my house the night before he filed divorce even though I had only met him a couple of times, but apparently he viewed us as really good friends and wanted to talk) and told me all that, told me he didn't know what he was thinking, he was just lonely and yadda yadda. Biggest mistake ever.

So yeah. Do I think it's common? No, not at all. But do I think its possible? Yeah, definitely.

I was brainwashed in the church so I held out until I was 21 to loose my virginity. I had no religious qualms about getting head from 12-15 girls before that though. Glad I don't have to play mental gymnastics anymore.

I went to a university that had an abysmal female to male ratio (1:5 women to men). We had an old saying. Women at Clarkson are like parking spots. They're all handicapped or taken.
