If you were talking about porn, or someone you're just getting to know, sure. I think that's something implicit. But someone you're supposed to trust otherwise thinks it's ok to lie to you during sex? I think that's a problem. Sex should be open and free and her being able to say "this isn't working for me" should be part of that. And you should want that. That's feedback. Maybe you were doing something different that time, idk. Or maybe she was trying to hold in a fart the whole time.

You don't see a long term problem with your setup? Where she might develop a habit to preferring faking over real because she doesn't want to ruin sex.

I've faked it in the past, but never with my husband. I'm not interested in lying about sex at all. I have a lot if sex where I don't reach orgasm but that is totally fine by me. I want to get off a few times a week but all the other times I'm completely happy without. And it's not like that sex is just doing the duty type, we don't really have that.
