It's so more complex than that. First off she won't let me hire a maid. She takes it as an insult. Also if you think Noodle's clothes situation was bad mine is 3 times as bad. I've tried doing the laundry myself and she goes nuts. She hates me trying to do any of the laundry. Here is a picture of my living room so people don't think I'm kidding.
We just started asking about house cleaners and it turns out all of our friends have 1. 60 bucks for a full house cleaning? I'm in.

I hired 4 different house cleaning services. Including 2 different typical polish immigrant house cleaners who were not part of a maid service but on their own. Everyone swore they were the best to me.
They were utter shit. And I don't think I have high standards. When I come home and still see cobwebs in the corners of rooms and dust bunnies in nooks and crannies that's a shitty goddamn house cleaner. Eventually I gave up. One told me she tried everything to get my shower door handle clean of soap scum, etc but nothing worked so I took my fingernail and scraped off the buildup right in front of her. Terrible.
And sloshed.... that's some fucked up shit.

My wife is a tad OCD. My wife locks up when lots of things seem insurmountable. She used to get mad when i just "did stuff" like it was an insult to her. I told her that I was an adult and I will live like an adult. The things I do are not meant to slight her, it is to complete a task. Men are built to complete tasks. I made it part of my day to do at least an hour of "house stuff" every night since i first moved out by myself.It's so more complex than that. First off she won't let me hire a maid. SOOOOO if laundry isnt done, i do it. If the yard needs doing, I do it. I cook dinner anyway because I am better at it. If your women complains, you show her results, and there is literally nothing else they can say about it. DO NOT BE SMUG about it. DO NOT BE A BITCH about it. Just be man like and get it done.
Men do things, women bitch about doing things. It sucks (due to being tired after work, etc ) but, at least in my opinion, staying in motion fixes "energy" over time.
DO things and complete tasks. Her feeling bad is irrelevant to the task at hand.
edit: however to be fair i was really not happy to scrape up marshmellow off my hardwood floors because of the damn kids yesterday.

Well some of the furniture is because I'm currently redoing my daughters bedroom and I needed to move it out so I can get new carpet put down. The living room is a room we don't typically use much so the wife turns it into a giant junk drawer. The clothes you see on the floor are because of the wives dead beat sister that has lived with us for 2 years and has taken up residence and I don't see an end in sight. The stories I could tell....
