Going out for drinks with the lady friend tonight, she's had a rough week (her cousin who is her best friend just found out she has cancer, she owns her own cleaning business and tax time is now which is stressing her a bit) and asked if I could pick her up at her place in case she has one to many (shes 5'1" and a few beers are enough to get her tipsy). I'm hopeful of post drink activities though the thought of them seems odd too as other than the few BJ's I got from the FWB, I've not been with anyone other than my wife in some years.

I don't think it's my being nervous or anything, just an odd thought that hit me a little bit ago.

You described it perfectly in your post on what it means for women not being able to hang out as well. If you had a buddy who had to be driven home after 3 beers,you'd probably make fun of him, instead you'll just be giving forehead kisses.

I'm not saying drinking is the focal point of my relationship but it carries over into everything else for me. I'm a very very active person and Usually find myself weighed down when going out with a girl.

This is also coming from a guy who went on a tinder date last night and the girl invited me back to her place but I just went home instead.

Don't be mad cause the last time you tried to hang you ended up in the hospital.

Mainly didn't go home with her cause it was 12ish so by the time we got to her place and ended up banging, it would of been like 3 am and I work at 8am.

Try working a manual labor job on about four hours of sleep, if the girl was a nine or ten, I'd go for it but I was sober on the date and fired one out before so I had little motivation. She was just your average I come from money but want to look hipster poor kind of girl.

Depends, if we are up until 3am we probably didn't start until 1:30 or so. Sometimes we just got shit to do man! Or the baby wakes up, or watched a show or two, or whatever. Wife is a night owl.

I'm fairly sure my buddy wouldn't be sitting on my penis and using the ride home as an excuse to set that up either.
