They sometimes repeat older expeditions, most frequently towards the end of the year. End of 2023 they repeated almost all the 2023 expeditions for people who had missed them the first time around

Isn’t that already in game? At least as so far as jet packs. On an airless moon you can travel a mile on a single punch-boost

Best change is you can land on water now - I fucking hated ocean planets because you’d have to park on an island and then either swim back or find more land to summon your ship on

It's on sale on Steam for $24 through 7/29. Hated this game when I played it on PS4 at launch, but the redemption story and updates have always intrigued me. Can't believe it's been out almost a decade, and that I'm rebuying it.

I love this game and playing with 7.1 headphones is really immersing with the sound on planets. I wish I had time to really dive into it. Damn kids.

The older I get the more I think of individual games, especially the ones made by individuals or small dev teams, as potentially life-long projects. Like an artisan chiseling out some marble statue that's never complete; there's always new things you could and old you can refine or remove if they suck. There's no reason why your game couldn't continue to sell a meaningful number of copies each month 10, 20, even 30 years down the line as the game grows in renown. There are good examples of this: Factorio, this, Starsector, etc. And the game doesn't have to have a triple-A price tag; a million people buying your game over a 10 year period for $10 a pop is still 10 million revenue. If your game is good, it will have a community and that community will grow, especally with updates.

My comp is a potato, but this was the first time I thought of maybe trying this one out. Won't tho, 'cause potato. =) Still havn't played GTA5. fml.

I'm having a ridiculous amount of fun with this patch + expedition.

They've almost nailed the thing I've wanted most from a video game: Getting ambushed by fun events on your way to doing other more mundane quests.

This game would be much better if every aspect of the economy wasn't so easily exploitable and the shit you did actually mattered, lol.
