Have a 4090 now with a 13900 processor, upgraded from a 1080gtx. 60fps is my limit. On the 1080, even though I had access to 4k, I kept on chugging with 1080p and it was good with 60fps for games until around 2022 (no RTX and such of course). When I had to put things to medium to keep up and still get dips down to 40. When I bought my previous computer, it was nearly top of the line, and same with this. New standard is 4k 60. Currently it can keep way higher frames in most games in 4k (cyberpunk not by much, has 80.66 fps on average doing the benchmark, with everything set to max at 4k with DLSS quality), but doubt I'll need any upgrades for the next few gens (hopefully). I'm interested in seeing the size of the next gen tough, if it keeps getting bigger. Current one is like the size of 2.5 PSUs. EVGA or somesuch.
