It was also stupid because they kept nagging her about 'showing emotion' but her wooden performance barely displayed any emotions during the entire movie. Like telling a fucking tree to stop being so emotional.

Those two were brought up because they are part of the two giant franchises that the Mouse is trying to run into the ground by failing to meet the hilariously low standard of absolute mediocrity.

to be fair to the cheese thief, i dont know if she had shown human emotions it would have made any damned difference to the movie anyway. it was written so generically, paint by numbers pacing. it was destined to be lame. we didnt even get a good villain. the scary looking aliens werent even the bad guys, they had to subvert expectations to make it so the only white guy was the baddie. wow, what a fucking twist you did there.

Not many of them that made ~$700M less than the movie that preceded it...or caused the next 2 movies made in that universe to do much worse than expected, too. There's so many reasons Last Jedi was shit that have nothing to do with SJW or political shit, it's actually irritating when that sort of stuff is brought up regarding it, because it gives people an out to claim it's the only reason people say it was trash, when it was not.

Color me excited. Lead is in a pretty funny Canadian show called Kim's Convenience, which is on Netflix. Not at all PC which helps.

I really liked Luke Cage at the start. Season 1 > season 2 though for sure. Actor who played him was likeable and to this day I still have "Long live the chief" in my default playlist because the intro acts at the club were pretty cool.

I actually didn't like Daredevil very much, but Punisher was really solid.

Yeah, Luke Cage was generally good, except that final fight of season one against Spandex Man; man that was bad. Oh yeah, and that unnecessary villain swap halfway through season one. Still generally enjoyable.
