Punisher was badass too. Really only Iron Fist was trash.
There've been thousands of shit movies before those. And thousands of shit movies afterward.
Watching a disappointing movie is one thing. Probably happens fairly regularly if you're watching movies regularly.
Trying to desperately to stir up some kind of fake outrage over some alleged SJW conspiracies or fake narratives about how they allegedly failed commercially because some actor/director/gaffer/whatever dared to criticise the president are just laughable, kindergarden attempts at Breitbart-style fake-politics.
I can't even imagine the mental leaps you must make to overcome your cognitive dissonance when you think people hate Captain Marvel or Ray because they were women, but then those same people go full fanboy for Ahsoka Tano, or think Ripley is one of the best characters in Sci Fi.
What it must be like to live in your word and have to frame everything along your dogmatic rules. Fascinating.
I never said people hated those characters/movies because they were women.
I said people hated those characters/movies because it became the thing that right-wing sheep do when some Breitbart click-bait or whatever-chan troll-post stirred up another random huff-puff-outrage based on a random remark by an actor or director or gaffer on the production on some random slow tuesday and the all the suckers got triggered and tried one up themselves with alt-right-nerd-cred by re-posting the same nonsense over and over again in fake-outrage vidoes and memes.

yes, the same ppl that read breitbart, also had to go out of their way to give Ghost of Tsushima 10/10 and give the last of us 2 a 0/10 b/c they all hate trans lesbo fagsWhich is fine. Never said Captain Marvel was a stellar movie. But there was a pathetic tribal aspect to some people's attempts to go out of their way to "spread the message" of how Brie Larson and Captain Marvel was the end of civilisation or whatever, that just didn't exist with ... dunno .. Thor: The Dark World or whatever.
I think Captain Marvel is worse than Dark World or IM2 in that those movies were kind of bland and didn't really add much but CM was aggressively shitty in choices they made. I don't think it's the end of the world and some movie has to be the worst one and it isn't as bad as the worst of the DC movies so there's that I guess.
this is true and i would not have even watched it, but i figured its the next to last MCU film and its only a few hours and i can see it for free, eh why not. on top of her being a bad actress, its a bad movie. not disgustingly bad, there just isnt anything there, it doesnt even tie in to Endgame, like at all. sure SM saves Tony and NebulaI just refuse to watch CM because Brie Larson is such an awful human and terrible actress.

but it could have been any number of other supers saving them. and she got one punched out of the movie courtesy of Thanos. that was it, she had no impact on this franchise. Captain Marvel was just a massive waste of time even if you disregard all of the cheese thief's horrible acting and her shit attitude.
man. imagine this scene... but its the Silver Surfer.

This coming from a British cuckoldPeople hate movies because the movie sucks.
SJW movies tend to have a disastrous trailer and tone deaf political statements from the production, so you know not to watch them (hence the "outrage" videos warning people).
I went into The Last Jedi with a lot of excitement and came out done with Star Wars. I only watched videos/memes about it afterwards because I agreed with them and wanted to see the way I felt articulted by professional critics.
I did not watch Ghostbusters remake because the trailer did not wow me and the "alt right" videos convinced me. I watched it on TV later and it did indeed suck. It also has a Plinkett review which is the gold standard of explaining why something is terrible.
I was excited for Captain Marvel and enjoyed the movie, the "fake outrage" videos were much more muted as the movie was OK. However Brie Larson did not endear herself to fans and I don't care about any sequel because she seems like a disingenuous airhead.
Ranting about 4 chan and alt right just reveals you as a brainwashed SJW cultist who can't think for themselves.
