So it looks like the Sim City franchise may be past its prime? I haven't played most of the different versions, and I'm curious if there's one that clearly stands out as being the peak of the series?

Video seems to be down. What was it about? Just more beta gameplay?
- Absence of terraforming.
SimCity 4 is great, especially if you use some mods (the big network/traffic mod is great). So it looks like the Sim City franchise may be past its prime? I haven't played most of the different versions, and I'm curious if there's one that clearly stands out as being the peak of the series?
SC4 was fun, my only complaint is that it ran like ass even on a powerful computer.SimCity 4 is great, especially if you use some mods (the big network/traffic mod is great).
Yep.Bigger maps DLC!
I'll still probably buy the game, but I still have every right to think some of the shit they do is retarded.i dont get you guys. What the fuck EA has to do more to convince you to never buy one of their games again ?
i'm not even much into the simcity franchise and just a couple of pages of this thread had me fully realized how their ruined even this franchise
after what....a dozen other?
Sims Medieval was at least a pretty neat idea.I'm not convinced that it's EA ruining SimCity. It's easy to blame the publisher but keep in mind that EA bought them in the 90s and Maxis' last games were Spore, the Sims: Medeival and Sims 3. SimCity5 is in the same direction.
