So it looks like the Sim City franchise may be past its prime? I haven't played most of the different versions, and I'm curious if there's one that clearly stands out as being the peak of the series?

The city sizes just kills this game for me. Why the fuck are they so small?

So they can charge you $29.99 for the DLC that disables their intentionally retarded design.

Those dead spots are so awful. I really don't understand how they can't see that.

SimCity 4 is great, especially if you use some mods (the big network/traffic mod is great).

If I had to guess its to keep the computation demands from crippling computers on the lower end of their spec window. Each of the much vaunted Agents (which are quite cool and honestly the main reason I am interested in this title) means more calculations that need doing.

SC4 was fun, my only complaint is that it ran like ass even on a powerful computer.

Box sales, then a resounding failure shortly after.

I was ready to pick this up after the last Sim City I played was SC 2000.

Then I started seeing all of the restrictions, and fuck that shit right in the butt hole.

EDIT: Holy fuckballs SC2k came out in 1994...god damn that makes me feel old.
