I guess that makes sense, if she really expected to only get one vote and that being from tony, and knew the rest were full on board for tony, but the editing made it look like there would be a near even split between two alliances. Otherwise the one vote for Aubrey wouldn't matter because she would have ended up with more votes than Aubrey if it was going by what was shown. But then even tony voted for aubrey which was weird.

The expected votes from the editing were
Sandra=tony
Troyzan=tony
Hali=tony
Jeff=tony
Michaela=tony

Aubrey=sandra
Caleb=sandra
Malcolm=sandra
tony=sandra

Bummed about Caleb. Feel like he was entirely a casualty of an early merge. Although, he may have been on the outs with Sandra for all I know.

And speaking of Sandra...what the fuck? 8 days and she's ready to say "Fuck you, baby goat!" I mean, I eat meat and all, but that seems like a pretty heartless thing to do after just over a week. I don't know that 39 days on Survivor is enough for me to murder a baby animal for food. A real survival situation maybe, but c'mon.

I'm also glad they did the hidden immunity idol in the challenge thing again. It obviously only works if used sparingly, because otherwise people will always be on the lookout. But man it's exhilarating to watch someone try to sneak an idol in front of 10-15 people.

The entire goat situation was terrible. There was a ton of people on twitter saying they were going to stop watching if they were killed. CBS dodged a bullet there. They still had the chickens so going after the goats was kind of retarded. I'm surprised CBS doesn't catch more shit for having those chickens as part of the scramble at the beginning of the season.

I like the idol hidden at the challenge and they do use it sparingly so it works out. Jeff and Culpepper must be friends IRL because Jeff doesn't even call him Brad he calls him by his last name. I guess that how much of a man boner Jeff has for him. I guess it should go without saying because he shouldn't be on this season at all.

The goat thing is strange, because I've heard for past seasons they get briefed on what local flora/fauna they're allowed to eat. I guess maybe goats weren't on that list?

I always wonder when they start talking about how someone, like Caleb, is strong and will help with the challenges, no one points out that he's been on the losing end of three challenges in a row. Can't help but think he's just shit at the game.

Here are the skills that you can bring to Survivor. If you think of these skills on a 1-10 scale, 5 being a baseline or normal level.

1. Physicality/Athleticism: Contributor in challenges, threat to win individual immunities, might be a provider for their tribe outside of challenges.
2. Social Skills: Always in the know, usually have a solid alliance.
3. Resourcefulness/Desire/Energy: Plays the game harder, looks for and finds immunity idols, makes their own luck, higher endurance in challenges and the grind of the 39-day game.
4. Likability/Trustworthiness: This is the coat-tail rider's best attribute and the one that translates worst to TV, but it is a real skill.
5. Intelligence/Wildcard Factor: Will do better in puzzle style challenges, can either engineer blindsides or see them coming, one step ahead of competitors. Willing to take drastic action when their back is against the wall.

Here is my Caleb Rating:
1. Physicality/Athleticism: 7
2. Social Skills: 6
3. Resourcefulness/Desire/Energy: 3
4. Likability/Trustworthiness: 6
5. Intelligence/Wildcard Factor: 4
Summary: Caleb was an average player. Played the game twice and had 18 total days, which is not good. He is not a bad player, but he wasn't outstanding in any way either.

Sandra is going to win a third time. She should have went today. I'm honestly surprised they let them talk like that at tribal.

J.T. is an epic dipshit. He loses his closest ally, doesn't get out Sandra, and now has to deal with the flak of "setting them up".

Sandra is a couple votes away from winning a 3rd time. She got set up pretty well by having a season completely littered with goats/coattail-riders. Half of them did literally nothing on their season, so I have no clue how they are considered a "game-changer".

PS. Is it just me or does Hayley have one of the all-time great Survivor asses? She has a wicked underbite and horrible voice, but that booty is cray.

IKR, that ass?

BTW, how hot is Andrea without makeup? You would think some women would recognize that but she doesn't. She is no where near as hot with make up as she is without.

Sandra basically talks non-stop shit Russel-Hantz-style this season, and everyone is just sitting there like an idiot. There's gotta' be a point where that grates someone enough to flip.

I don't think Sandra has any chance of winning. No one is going to vote for the only two time winner. Plus, she's basically no threat to win individual immunity, so it's definitely possible to get rid of her later.

I enjoyed the twist of first telling them two teams go to tribal, but then only one person was leaving.

I also found the tribal to be amusing as shit. Shows that players are their own worst enemies. I'm actually amazed that it seems like both tribes stuck to their original plans. The only big mis-play was probably JT. If you're going to look shady in front of your entire tribe, you damn sure better not end up going back to camp a traitor AND having lost your closest ally. Completely fucked himself.

Yeah, I'm still not sure what the fuck JTs plan even was at that tribal. It was a total shit-show, but it was pretty entertaining.

Sandra isn't going to win. Her name comes up every tribal and you can only be second place so many times at that. Also, I don't think she has a single ally.

That tribal was a crazy twist for sure. Malcolm and his whole tribe got pretty screwed by it though. They were looking pretty unbeatable since after Ozzie, Malcolm, JT, and Michaela are probably the biggest challenge threats and they were all on the same team. Thanks to Varner dropping the ball though, now they have lost their best challenge guy and their second best one is on the outs.

I think JT's problem is that he can be strategic, but when he gets an idea, he just can't let it go. Getting Sandra out was a solid plan, but he bet the farm on it by going to Brad and since it didn't work he screwed himself. If he kept his mouth shut, I think the outcome would have been exactly the same, but now JT's tribe thinks he told Brad who they were voting for, which would have been totally pointless unless he knew about the immunity idol, but good luck convincing them that he didn't. At this point he better pray that he can avoid tribal council until the merge, which he has a chance to do since the red tribe is horrible in challenges, but it will be harder without Malcolm for sure.

Props to Tai for finding that idol and playing it correctly. I still think he's horrible at Survivor, but he got to be the hero this week.

And yes, I also noticed that Hayley's butt is amazing this episode.

Tai was only the hero under Brad's direction, though.

That is true. I have never been a Brad Culpepper fan, but he is killing it so far this season. His convincing Tai to vote out Caleb last week and think it was his idea was a Cerie level manipulation and I never would have thought Brad was capable of it. On the other hand, it was Tai.

EDIT: Oh and I meant to point out, whether they were intentional or not, there have been some hilarious digs at Tai by the editing this season. Tonight's was him saying that he was not going to play with his heart and then taking 6 seconds to think of what he was going to play with (his head).

Man, Debbie has fucking lost it.

She's crazier now in under 2 weeks than she ever was on her original season. She's got a chemical imbalance.

JT confirmed dumbass. Not bringing the idol is ridiculous and with the merge next week that could have saved his game. Sandra eating that sugar was some pro quality shit stirring though.

I'm enjoying the season so far but most of the players I was rooting for are dropping like flies. Andrea might be my favorite now although she hasn't gotten much camera time. I'm rooting for Aubry too, but I think she's having a hard time dealing with all these people who have played multiple times.

The Debbie stuff was hard to watch. Brad showed amazing restraint by not just going off on her or perhaps choking her to death. She needs to be sent home for her own good.

I think bringing Michaela back so quickly might have been a mistake. She doesn't seem to be doing well either. They showed it this week but in his exit interview Malcolm said that he couldn't stand her while he was on her tribe.

They had better get Ozzie out quick after the merge. With JT and Malcolm gone it seems like Culpepper is the only one left that can give him any competition in challenges but he's 12 years older.
