I'm confused, does Egypt not like them either? I would think they would be supplying them through their border.

Edit: Nvm guess not, from that blockade page : " ....while Egypt either pumps poisonous gases and water or detonates explosives to destroy the tunnels....[136] Egypt is constructing an underground steel barrier to prevent circumvention of the blockade through tunnels."

Would think another Arab nation would be all for trying to go against Israel(especially considering their fights with Israel previously).
Because despite Brosar and Tripamang believing Hamas to either be the victim or some sort of humanitarian organization, Egypt and Saudi Arabia do recognize Hamas as radicals. Sure, they hate Israel, but just like every other Jew hater knows, Israel doesn't have any goals of planting their flag anywhere outside of Israel. Hamas, ISIS, and the rest of the death loving cultists scare the shit out of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and do have plans for planting their flag, amongst other things..

Well Israel is a nuclear power since the late 60's, I don't think anyone would seriously consider taking them on anymore. When the muslim brotherhood came to power in Egypt they effectively ended the blockade to Gaza but once they were thrown out the border was closed again, and the military went back to destroying tunnels.

LOL, Yes I just fucking love Hamas. Man you're so fucking delusional, you keep wanting to paint this as being completely black and white because it's easy and it fits your narrative, but it isn't. It's extremely complex with tons of terrible shit on both sides and it can't be reduced down to good guys and bad guys. From my personal experience and people I've interacted with I know it isn't that way, and I refuse to sit back and watch people try to make it that way.

I dislike Hamas only slightly less than I dislike Israel. I give a shit about the Palestinian people because I've met a lot of them, some are even family and they're human beings who deserve better than this.

Yeah fucking with Israel is a fools errand because they are both a nuclear power and they are fairly ruthless in retaliating against those who even think about it. The only powers in the area with the resources to even consider it also have a vested interest in the current status quo. Plus Israel can always run to Uncle Sam to get its way as a last resort. Until the oil runs out, all parties involved have a vested interest in standing around and watching Israel fistfuck Palestine.

You made a good statement, then that last line. Imo it sucks for civilians on both side. One prays a bomb/missile doesn't hit them that day the other prays a rocket doesn't hit them. The latter is just better protected with inteceptor tech. Imagine if that tech wasn't in place.

Could also argue intent. Does the IDF purposely set out to kill civilians(know one knows, and the whole thing is just "he said/she said")? Does Hamas just fire rockets randomly, do they lack the tech to aim or do they just not care where it lands?

Here is the thing. Israel clearly is using drones to recon the area extensively. So it follows that any casualties are either willful or incompetent, at least at the level of collateral damage we are seeing. You can't tell me they dropped that last school building without at least one guy with bars looking over thermal drone surveillance prior to the strike being ordered. And Palestine just does not give a shit because their standard of living has been degraded to the point where they can see their own extinction on the horizon and death is a preferable state of affairs. That's the part that people are not really grasping. Things are so fucked up that Palestine has literally nothing left to lose by fighting to the bitter end. So they will and the IDF will continue to use the state of affairs as justification to keep bulldozing them into the ocean. It really is a genocide, just with the slow boiling frog approach where no one will care until it is too late.

Well put.

When they did try to negotiate in good faith, they got their land stolen and Israelis intentionally negotiated in bad faith as the Netanyahu video amply displays.

What else are the Palestinians supposed to do?

Can you make that jump? You are pretty blinded by your bias. Look at what the US has done and its surveillance capabilities and we still have collateral damage(or any number of modern countries involved in conflicts). Is there any data that shows total number of munitions dropped with a % of those that hit something they were not supposed too?

What would be a good military strategy for getting rid of rockets/munitions and/or their firing base when that "Base/storage" is a school or other civilian structure? I could see ground troops, but not sure you want that, as it usually leads to something even worse. It's a very sticky situation and I'm not sure there is any "Best" way to go about it.

Cinge, you should really go back and read through this thread, particularly the links. The short answer to your question though is that their rockets are unguided and they aim them at population centers. If the Israelis didn't have Iron Dome there would be far more casualties, which ironically seems to be the metric for "moral fairness" to a lot of people.

I love how stolen land keeps being brought up when all of us are arguing this on stolen land.

Which is bad. It's like carpet bombing on a smaller scale but against a formidable counter system.

Not sure any side can claim any kind of "moral" high ground here. Both have farm too much violent intent towards their counter general populace and too much civilian blood or intended blood on their hands.

I love how stolen land keeps being brought up when all of us are arguing this on stolen land.
I stated this a while ago in this thread. The whole idea of "Stolen" land is ridiculous. The entire world is built upon "Stolen" land. Either via migration or war or even a combination of both. I don't think there is a group alive today that could claim "we were the very first to settle here besides animals", if there is, it's a very small %(and probably confined to some of the indigenous tribes in Africa or South America and even then they usually fought other tribes over land, so who really knows). People just like to "flock" to the cause that is the most prominent at the time to pretend they "Care" and feel better about themselves.

Must be why we rushed troops out to help them in the six days war...oh wait.

Are you fucking retarded? Nobody is talking about the initial theft of land to create Israel. We're talking about the fact that Israel continually steals more and more land from the Palestinians.

No, what you fail to grasp is that Gaza has 5 star hotels, full internet connectivity, filet mignon if you can afford Hamas' taxes on such, enough food to render a good portion of the population morbidly obese, population growth that is exploding, and an average lifespan of 73 years. Doesn't quite sound like a situation or living conditions that equate to "seeing their own extinction on the horizon". A number of people have already pointed out how egregiously stupid it is to compare it to concentration camps or genocide, but I gotta give it to you guys, you keep on truckin' in the stupid.

they don't even have an electrical plant now, and you keep calling gaza a paradise, which is ridiculous, i'd stop calling it that compared to places that you actually can call "paradise"

Well if they blew up that hotel, it would interfere with the ability of Zionist forum warriors like Wombat to bring up shit like the hotel or the already debunked obesity thing.

Yes Phazael, mistakes happen. Just because you have drones in the sky, doesn't mean you somehow have perfect missiles or perfect people operating them.

Did the rebels in Ukraine intentionally shoot down M17 knowing it was a civilian plane?
Did the US intentionally shoot down IR655, knowing it was filled with civilians?
Did the US intentionally bomb the chinese embassy in Belgrade?

I mean, I feel like it shouldn't be necessary to explain that mistakes happen, but it seems you are confused on the subject.
