Capt Marvel isnt a bad movie, it has a terribly miscast actress as Capt Marvel, but its an ok film even though its boring. the only real bad part of it besides the Cheese Thief is the origin of how Nick Fury lost an eye. it took the serious parts seriously . oh and they made CM ridiculously OP where it loses whatever stakes there were in the film. ok, it is kinda bad now i think about it some more. still not as bad as L&T

I wasnt fully watching it but every time I did pay attention it was pretty bad, I turned Captain marvel off and I feel like I would have done the same for this if I was sitting down. Bale was great and seems like he could have been one of the best MCU villians but had little screen time

this was shit, but it was better than Captain Marvel. 5 years from now you will remember Bale played Gorr the God Butcher. The director/writer wasted the part and sucked the life out of this movie, but Bale was great.

Quick, without any googling, can you name the villain in Captain Marvel or what their goal was? No, it wasn't Thanos and no, it wasn't The Patriarchy as much as Brie wanted it to be.

Captain Marvel is eyerolling for most of it. L&T is WTF? they turned Jane's cancer into a punchline? WTF they're still milking that screaming goat joke? WTF they made the big baddie a booscare villain with the kids? WTF they shit on Zeus and turned him into a dumbass? WTF they built up this god killer and never showed him godkilling? there is a lot more to piss people off in L&T than CM fighting the patriarchy because somebody made a bad pilot joke about a cockpit.

I mean, I enjoy funny Thor, but that isn't Thor from the comics. And while he seemed more out of place than flat out retarded in Ragnarok, he seemed flat out retarded in this.

Taika got a little too up his own ass and it absolutely showed. The goats stuff could have been 1-2 scenes, not "And this is why the Guardians, who are absolutely substantially weaker than he is, left him on a planet. I get that the new modus operandi is to just shit on straight white men as much as possible, but this film just crapped on itself vs. the intended audience. Better than I had heard, but nowhere near as good as it should/could have been.

This makes me want everyone involved to step down from the MCU.
