Here's a terrible quality photo of the USS Liberty after the attack. Even with this shitty photo you can make out the US flag at the top of the left mast along with a naval flag. I can do that and yet I am expected to believe that the pilots from the vaunted IAF couldnt see it at all? That they mistook a ship with 10,000 tons of displacement for a ship with 2750 tons of displacement?

And that's the point. For all the bootlicking that Americans do for Israel saying that at least Zionists dont kill them, Israel kills when they have to. The rest of the time they just use US to fight its proxy wars. They care about American lives just about as much as arabs do, if not less.

Actually if you read up on the WPA, you would see that in the Supreme Court case INS v. Chadha the majority opinion indicated the the WPA was probably unconstitutional. There is no evidence that the rebels have over run any actual places where chemical weapons were being stored. That base wasn't a manufacturing plant, it wasn't a storage facility. It was a place where they were once tested.

You have zero facts to support this convoluted fantasy



You seem to be missing the point: Rebels have been sacking and looting Syrian military bases for two years as the ebb and flow of battle has occurred, and Assad hasn't had control of vast swaths of the country for periods of time, while the US has reported already in that same article I cited that they cannot ascertain for certain where all Assads chemical weapons are.

The first cable, sent five days after the attack, informs Eban that a U.S. informant told him (Harman) that there was "clear proof that from a certain stage the pilot discovered the identity of the ship and continued the attack anyway."[98] The second cable, sent three days later, added that the White House is "very angry" because "the Americans probably have findings showing that our pilots indeed knew that the ship was American."[6]
The Israeli diplomatic cables appear to confirm the existence of the NSA tapes in which an Israeli pilot identifies the USS Liberty as an American vessel, radios his base informing the base of this fact, and is ordered to continue the attack anyway.[6]

UN official Carla Del Ponte, serving on the UN commission looking into human rights abuses in Syria Said.

"Our investigators have been interviewing victims, doctors and field hospitals. According to their report of last week, which I have seen, there are strong, concrete suspicions but not yet incontrovertible proof of the use of sarin gas, from the way the victims were treated.I was a little bit stupefied by the first indications we got ... they were about the use of nerve gas by the opposition," Carla Del Ponte said.

Before that, it had widely been assumed that the regime used chemical weapons. However,Del Ponte's statement was seemingly not publicized much in the media, because it would tarnish the reputation of Syria's "freedom fighters."
