Eragon was bad sure, but I've seen a lot worse movies, then again I didn't see it in theaters so maybe thats why I don't have so much hate against it.

That movie is only bad if you don't find tom greens stupidity to be funny, i found him entertaining back then so i didn't mind it

Aye, at least howard the duck turned into a cult classic, many of these movies bombed and were forgotten about they were so bad.

Wing Commander was plenty bad but it was also completely forgettable. It's a harmless kind of bad.

Unless you were a massive Wing Commander fan, played all the games, got all excited about the movie, and then saw Matthew Lillard on the poster and had a freakout. Then it might be the worst movie you ever saw in the theater. You need something extra to separate a bad movie from a "worst theater experience ever" kind of movie.

I remember the advertising for that. "It's better than Aliens!" I went to see it with my mom because we both liked Aliens. I was 14.

Natasha Henstridge's constant nudity crossed over from awkward to very awkward to dull. Oh great, she's trying to hook up withanotherguy and I have to look away from the screenagain. Jesus, AGAIN? Fuck it. I'm just going to watch. I don't even care anymore. You have managed to make a 14 year old male bored of nudity. That's how tiresome it got.

Also, Attack of the Clones made Phantom Menace look brilliant - after watching the steaming pile of shit that was Star Wars II, I was wishing they had more Jar Jar and less Anakin/Padme.

Species 2 takes all the gross parts of Species and takes them even further.

I couldn't finish Freddy Got Fingered. That one was unwatchable.

I was pretty disappointed with this in the theatre but have watched it a few times since and think it's okay. Also...

As for worst movie I've seen, I'll go with Superman IV only because I can't think of the title of this arty, depressing and shitty film an equally arty and depressing ex talked me in to sitting through.

Oh, alsoKids.

I love Howard the Duck.
Me too, me too, but that doesn't change the fact it is considered one of the biggest bombs in movie history. I recorded it on vhs on tv and literally wore the tape out, I watched that movie every day one summer when I was ~7.

You saw Kids in the theater? I felt bad enough having caught it on HBO or whatever.

If that shit was called Spirits Within, would totally be a cool movie but they had to attach Final Fantasy....and the result was dreadful

I mean, the movie was pretty bad, but I felt it was a pretty good representation of how much utter nonsense the central plot of your average Final Fantasy game was.

It was some movie with Greg kinnear. He was a postal worker and they were answering all the dead letters that were sent to Santa or something like that. It was just so bad. Like a Christmas comedy without any elements of comedy.

I think it might have been called dear God or dear Santa or something like that. One of the few I've ever just walked out on. It was so boring and bland.

I am sort of a connoisseur of bad movies and worked as a theatre manager for a while, so I got to indulge my hobby a bunch. As for movies I actually paid money to see in a theatre, there are five that stand out as the worst of the worst:

Leonard Part 6 - Bill Cosby at his finest.
Hardware- Post Apocalyptic Horror film where the electronic door to the apartment kills more people than the actual monster.
Congo- Even Erny Hudson and Tim Curry could not make up for "Amy bad gorilla".
Masters of the Universe - The beginning of the end of Dolph Lundgren's career.
Pacific Rim Job- God, what a horrible movie that wasted so much potential.

Honorable mention: Man of Steel, FF: Spirits Within, and Hellraiser 3.
