my understanding is that in any society the stupid and poor will out breed the rich and productive, get angry kill all the rich and destroy the civilization and that this process is unavoidable no matter how long you try to ease tensions through hand-outs

im not a very smart man but to me socialism just seems like an escalation in hand-outs to prevent the organic "stupid" uprisings

Twoplustwo takes famous posters arbitrarily and votes them "out" survival style. Whoever is more popular wins, loser gets banned. I won one, lost one, and got banned.

The only negative is that you have to make a new account and lose your post count. It happened to EVERY famous poster on 2p2, it was just tradition.

I already made an in-depth post that debunked this. A healthy Roman Empire would have demolished the barbarians knocking at the gates, like they did time, and time again. Caesar killed over a million Gauls in his war. Marius killed 500,000. They fucking massacred the strongest Empire in the world.

Posting here is starting to get exhausting. There's a lot of stupidity. I'm not up to date in current affairs, but history is my realm and I know a LOT about it. Wanting to know what people 2,000 years ago were like psychology is a major fucking interest of mine.

I would take any of you in a standardized test covering 150,000 BC to the 19th Century.

I enjoy this forum simply because of the breadth and diverse topics discussed as opposed to a specialized poker forum or specialized Roman history forum.

And it's not as much chaos as some of the others. But there's a lot of people who just like to hate to hate, and there's a lot of people who aren't that intelligent that just like to hate.

This is an insight into my intelligence, at least when it comes to psychology.

No. To win at poker you need discipline, a good grasp of psychology, the ability to read people. Taking insult has nothing to do with it because poker players normally aren't very rude, at lose with grace. It does get annoying when a bad player wins and starts professing like he knows everything about the game, but I don't mind the spread of bad information.

Read the thread above. I called $400 on the river with Q high on a coordinated board.

It's a general rule in our society that when someone walks into a room and says "I know more than you," "I'm an expert," "I know a LOT about it," they are automatically assumed to be a fraud. Multiply this by about 100 if you're online.

I only started behaving in this manner after you guys repeatedly tried to tear me down by calling me a combination of autistic, retarded, austistic, dumb, terrible, and autistic.

I've never received such a terrible reception, although a few posters, including a mod, send me PMs saying they do enjoy my posts so not to leave. It just seems like hating me in public is the cool thing to do.

I've been wrong in some of my posts, mainly politics, but not in this thread. I understand human nature pretty fucking well, I just have a hard time applying it in real time.
