    LOTRO - No update this year. Trion, AoC ,Etc. Yeah they're all doing really great. Closed studios, re structured into purely casual MMOs They all made a ton of money with the FTP switch but once they get over that initial rush the wad of money isn't the same. Give me a fucking break...

    And lets face it - EQ style is easier to code and playtest. I'd like to see this game get made and simpler means more likely to get made. I guess I can deal with the MTG card abilities but am already cool on the chains for all the reasons presented by you guys here.

    Agree completely on this (example of how to balance tanks Warrior best at Raid, Paladin best Tank in Group, SK best Solo Tank) but EQ healers needed help.

    I will say I prefer flat classes (no talent trees/specs) and set abilities myself. I'll also add that I think they are easier to execute and "balance" (wtf that means) as Mulligan has pointed out. But whatever - I'll roll with the combat doc if a game shows up eventually.

    I'm pretty sure I commented on the fact FTP was one of the things that killed the game - they were making more money sub based. And I lot more money in 2009 when there was an actual population. Having actually played VG from Beta 4 or so in 2006 through 2008 (and on/off from 2009 to 2012)...
