New raid is worth $20, it is fun. Many of the design decisions are mind boggling, but somehow it is still fun. New OP sniper rifle will probably be nerfed and then rebuffed right before the next xpac mythoclast style.

It sucks that Xur is selling the same BP with different stats 2 weeks in a row, but it's good that there is stat deviation in the high end gear. Gives you something to do after hitting 30, since that raid armor drop can always be a lil better.

They made the exact same mistake as early D3 with regards to loot. The content that they wanted players to do was not the most rewarding, so players did the most rewarding thing (loot cave) instead. Just like in D3 when running MP2 was better than trying to run MP10. The solution is easy...

I think at a minimum the final boss in strikes should drop a blue engram with an enhanced chance for a purple/yellow. This would make strikes something to consider doing after capping marks for the week. Scale the chances up with the level. It is a lot more rewarding to shoot a mob for 10...
